Katy Perry lidera indicações à premiação da MTV nos EUA

   Katy Perry lidera este ano as indicação ao VMA, premiação da MTV norte-americana, com os clipes das músicas "Firework", "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" e "E.T.". A cantora concorre em nove categorias, incluindo melhor clipe pop, melhor direção, melhor colaboração e clipe do ano.
Os indicados foram anunciados na noite desta quarta-feira.
Em segundo lugar entre os concorrentes aparecem empatados a britânica Adele e o rapper Kanye West com sete indicações cada.

   Entre outras categorias, Adele vai disputar com Katy Perry os troféus de clipe do ano e clipe pop com o clipe de "Rolling in the Deep". Já West foi indicado por dois clipes, "All of the Lights" e "Power", além de concorrer ao prêmio de melhor colaboração e melhor direção pela sua participação no clipe "E.T.", de Katy Perry.
A entrega do VMA acontece dia 28 de agosto, em Los Angeles
